There is plenty to do in Grand Cayman, whether it be on land or sea. Our knowledgeable Concierges are more than happy to organize the following activities and more.

All companies that we recommend to our guests have provided valid documentation of insurance and permits required in the Cayman Islands.

Bio-luminescent Bay Tours

Take a kayak or pontoon boat through the glowing waters of Grand Cayman’s bio bay and experience the mango forests — a sanctuary for a variety of flora and fauna. Watching bio-luminescent organisms light up the night with each stroke of your paddle is truly remarkable! Tours are available around the moon cycle.

Sailing

Sailing is one of the best ways to enjoy the tropical breeze and beautiful waters in the Cayman Islands. We can arrange anything from a 60-person catamaran to 2-person Hobie Cat.

Stingray City

One of the most famous excursions Grand Cayman has to offer. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet Cayman’s Southern Stingrays stingrays up close and personal. You can boat right from Rum Point Club dock over to Stingray City in 10-15 minutes!

Starfish Point

Just around the corner from RPC is the famous Starfish Point! This is a stunning sandy beach that boats often pull up to hang out for a while. Sit an enjoy the view, have a picnic, snorkel, or wade in the water and look for starfish!

Crystal Caves

The Crystal Caves offer guided walking tours, where a local guide will escort you through the caves and flora of Grand Cayman for about 1.5 hours. See giant stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures formed over the passage of time as well as a variety of plant and animal life.

Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park

The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park is on 65 acres of land . Enjoy a leisurely walk-through colorful garden; sit down near the lake and relax in the natural display which is the home of the endangered Grand Cayman Blue Iguana, many native birds and animals.

Cayman Parrot Sanctuary

Explore a haven of local flora and fauna, surrounded by little walking trails, fruit trees, and so much more. Meet Cayman’s native animals, like the agouti, ‘rasta caterpillar’, or Cayman Parrot. You can also meet bunny rabbits, goats, snakes and lots of other reptiles. Kids will love the large slides, playground, trucks and toys.

Snorkeling & Scuba Diving

There are over 365 diving and snorkeling sites around the island. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, we can arrange professional guides who will maximize your underwater exploration.

Fishing

Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, Grouper, Snook, Tarpon! Whether you are interested in fly fishing, bone fishing, deep sea fishing, our guides can help you hook one of the big one. We are proud to support our local, Caymanian fisherman.

SUP

Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) offers a fun way to play on the water, with the added benefit of a full-body workout. We can organize instructors who can lead you through basic lessons, PaddleFit classes as well as SUP Yoga. 

Davinoff’s Concrete Sculpture Centre

Take a quick stop to check out this great photo opportunity! Local artist David Quasius (aka Davinoff) has been creating giant local animals out of concrete since 1999. Plus, it is free admissions!

Golf

Cayman has two beautiful golf courses on island, Ritz Carlton and North Sound Club. We are happy assist with booking tee times, rentals and lessons.

Tennis

Tennis courts are available for use at The Ritz Carlton. Enthusiasts will love the option between three red clay courts and two hard courts. Private, group, or cardio lessons can be arranged in advance.

Helicopter Tours

Helicopter tours are a great way to see the entire island in an afternoon. It is one of our most unique tours that is both thrilling and informative. Closed- reopening soon!

Parasailing

Parasailing is one of the most unique ways to view the island from above if you’re looking for a thrill! Our local guides are some of the most professional in the world

 

West Bay Activities (about 1 hour drive from Rum Point Club Resort):

Dolphin Discovery

Whether you want to watch or take part you can enjoy these friendly mammals and their amazing tricks. Dolphin experiences include adorable kisses, unbelievable hugs, fast belly rides and the coolest foot push ever. In addition, you will learn lots about dolphins including their diet, reproduction and socialization patterns.

Kite-Boarding

Grand Cayman has some of the best kite-boarding in the world (seasonally available), thanks to its protected bays, shallow water and consistently beautiful weather. Bring your own equipment, or join a Kite School for beginner or intermediate lessons—equipment included—with a professional instructor. Horseback Riding

Choose from morning, afternoon, sunset, or moonlight horseback rides along Cayman's most pristine remote beaches and nature trails. SWIM on horseback with the horses on an uninhabited stretch of beach along Grand Caymans northward shores. No experience is necessary and experienced riders may canter their horses along the seashore with our special swim rides.

Turtle Center

Don’t miss out on this educational Caymanian experience where you can get an up-close look at turtles of all sizes. The Turtle Center is the oldest organization in the world breeding endangered Green Sea turtles for the purposes of conservation. There is also a crocodile, sharks, birds, a lagoon, a water slide and restaurant.
